To Be Provided By Sponsor:

• A level stage area with a minimum size of 15' x 15' with a smooth, flat surface.
• Once sound/lighting check has been done, nothing on the stage can be moved.
• Sound reinforcement to include:
  • five kick drum mics
  • four overhead mics
  • two instrument mics
  • one vocal mic
  • five kick drum mic stands
  • six boom mic stands
  • one straight mic stand
  • three stage monitor speakers
  • two direct boxes
  • one AC line with two sockets
  • mixboard, amplification, speakers (including subwoofer), cables & connectors to accomodate the above mics as well as the size of the venue.
  • sound technician to set up, sound check, operate during performance & strike the above equipment
  • If possible, all kick drum mics should go through noise gates in house and monitor systems in order to boost the lows in the signal - these drum sounds need to be HUGE!
• Lighting:
  • one small spot light and operator from the house
  • three lighting trees, each with a minimum of four fixtures (150 watt each) with gel assortment for each, cables, controllers/dimmers, and light technician to set up, light tech, operate during performance & strike the above lighting equipment.

HELP The Junkjam!!!

Most all performances of Junk Music involve a Junkjam .

What's a Junkjam ???

A Junkjam is where The Junkjam invites members of the audience onto the stage to jam on pieces of junk, found objects and objects that others have discarded.

In order to customize each Junkjam to its environment, The Junkman asks that the sponsor round up the following recycled materials.

Here's what to look for:

• minimum of four 2" X 4" wood studs - lengths can be approximately 6', 4', 3', and 2'.
• minimum of four pieces of metal (each piece needs to be size and weight so a person can hold it in one hand) - like a hubcap, scrap metal - any metal that has a nice ringing sound.
• two large plastic containers - like garbage cans. These are a must!
• minimum of eight other plastic objects
• eight rocks (each about 4" in diameter) - please rinse the dirt from the rocks.
• anything else you find that sounds unusual

Please, no sharp edges, splinters or anything else that will cause potential injury to the user. And please, only materials that had a prior use!
